우리 교회는 매년 1월과 9월, 두 차례 세겹줄 금식기도회를 합니다. 1월에는 기도로 새해를 준비하며 맞이하기위해 드리고, 9월에는 특별히 새 학기를 시작하는 자녀들을 위해 기도합니다.
원래는 첫째 주에 진행해 왔지만, 이번에는 제가 세겹줄기도회를 처음으로 인도하게 되었고, 8월 25일부터 9월8일까지 휴스턴 서울교회 목회자 연수를 다녀오기 때문에 9월 둘째 주(9월 9일 화요일~13일 토요일)에 세겹줄 기도회를 드리게 됩니다.
세겹줄 기도회는 함께 모여 찬양하고, 말씀을 듣고, 서로의 기도제목을 나누며 합심기도할 때 하나님의 은혜를 깊이 경험하는 시간입니다. 또한 기도 짝을 정하여 매일 서로 안부를 묻고 응답을 확인하며, 잠들기 전 10분간 기도 짝을 위해 기도하는 영적인 훈련의 자리이기도 합니다. .
세겹줄 기도회 진행
1.일시: 9월 9일(화) ~ 13일(토) 시간: 새벽 5:30–7:00
2.장소: ZOOM (ID: 530 567 4062 / PW: 123123)
3.순서: 찬송 – 말씀 - 조별 합심기도 - 개인기도
4.금식: 월요일부터 금요일까지 저녁 금식.
5.조 편성: 같은 성별, 같은 목장을 중심으로 3–5명씩 구성합니다. (6명 이상이면 2조로 나눕니다.)
9월 13일(토) 세겹줄 기도회도 ZOOM으로 진행하고, 기도회 후에는 한인회 운동회에 함께 참석하게 됩니다.
이번 기도회를 통해 말씀과 기도로 회복되고, 이어서 시작될 VIP를 품는 기도, 교회를 세우는 기도회로 자연스럽게 연결되기를 바랍니다. 3개월간 진행되는 이 기도회를 통해 교회의 사명과 VIP 영혼 구원에 더욱 집중하게 될 것입니다.
올 가을학기 삶 공부는 ‘생명의 삶’을 개설합니다 9월 셋째 주 시작 (13주 과정) 하고, 요일시간은 신청자들과 상의하여 확정할 예정입니다. 목장에 참석하는 분이면 누구나 등록 가능하지만 특별히 교회에 새로 오신 분들에게 권장합니다. 이번 ‘생명의 삶’은 제가 장년부를 대상으로 처음 인도하게 되는 삶 공부입니다. 신앙의 기초를 든든히 세우고, 말씀 안에서 믿음이 깊어지는 시간이 될 것입니다.
안내석에 세겹줄 기도회 신청서와 삶공부 신청서가 준비되어 있습니다. 신청은 9월 7일(주일) 까지 해주시기 바랍니다.
Our church holds the Triple Cord Fast and Prayer twice a year, in January and September. In January, we gather to welcome the New Year through prayer, and in September, we especially pray for our children as they begin a new school semester.
Normally, we hold this prayer meeting during the first week of the month. However, since this will be my first time leading the Triple Cord Fast and Prayer, and because I will be away for pastoral training at Houston Seoul Baptist Church from August 25 to September 8, we will hold the prayer meeting during the second week of September (Tuesday, September 9 – Saturday, September 13).
The Triple Cord Fast and Prayer is a time when we sing praises, listen to God’s Word, and share prayer requests with one another, experiencing God’s grace as we pray together in unity. It is also a spiritual discipline, as each person is paired with a prayer partner to check in daily, share prayer responses, and spend ten minutes before bedtime praying for one another.

- Dates: 9.9(Tue) – 13 (Sat) Time: 5:30 a.m. – 7:00 a.m.

- Order: Praise – Sermon – Group Prayer – Personal Prayer
- Fasting: Evening fasting from Tuesday through Friday
- Prayer Groups: Form groups of 3–5 people, preferably from the same gender and house church. (If there are 6 or more, divide into two groups.)
On Saturday, September 13, the Triple Cord Fast and Prayer will also be held via ZOOM, and after the meeting, we will join the Korean Association Sports Day together.
Through this prayer meeting, we pray that everyone will be renewed by the Word and prayer, and that it will naturally lead us into the upcoming “Prayer for VIPs and for Building the Church”, a special prayer focus for three months dedicated to evangelism and church mission.
Fall Life Study: Living Life Course This fall semester, we will offer the Living Life Cours Start at third week of September (13-week course) The exact day and time will be confirmed in consultation with participants. Anyone attending a house church is welcome, but it is especially recommended for newcomers to our church This will be my first time leading the Living Life Course for adults, and I expect it to be a precious time of strengthening our foundations of faith and going deeper in God’s Word.
