지금까지 우리 교회 새벽예배는 평일에는 쥼으로, 토요일에는 교회에 나와서 드리고 있습니다. 설교는 매일성경 QT 본문을 가지고 합니다. 어제부터 토요 새벽 예배가 바뀌었습니다

​크게 두가지가 바뀝니다. 먼저, 제가 토요일 새벽 예배를 인도합니다. 요새 장목사님이 주일 설교를 주로 하고, 저는 한 달에 한 번만 합니다. 새벽예배도 장목사님이 맡아서 합니다. 토요일 새벽예배라도 내가 인도할까 생각하던 중에, 마침 장목사님이 부탁을 해서 제가 인도하게 되었습니다.

어떻게 토요일 새벽 예배를 인도할까 기도하면서 생각해 보았습니다. 수요 기도회는 이미 VIP 사역을 위한 중보기도를 시작했습니다. 토요일 새벽 예배도 ‘영혼 구원하여 제자 만드는 일’에 초점을 맞춰야 한다는 생각을 주셨습니다.

​​​그래서 토요일 새벽 예배 시간에는 설교 대신 간증을 하려고 합니다. 간증은 주로 예수 영접이나 침례를 받은 분이 속한 목자/목녀님들이 합니다. 올해 예수 영접이나 침례를 받은 목장은 학생부(이윤희)와 도미니카(안수현)와 달라스(오현주)와 캄보디아(장흥신)와 YAM(강휘권) 목장입니다.

위 목자님들은 예수 영접한 목원에게 사역한 내용을 중심으로 목장 간증을 준비해 주시기 바랍니다. 이분들의 간증이 끝나면 다른 목자님들도 간증합니다. 간증할 분이 없으면 제가 설교를 하겠습니다.

처음에 찬양을 두 곡 부르고 설교나 간증을 하고, 그후 찬양 한 곡을 부른 후에 합심기도를 하고 나서 개인기도하는 시간을 갖겠습니다. 반주는 안수현 목자님이 해 주십니다. 기도회를 마치고 나서 간단한 다과를 해도 좋을 것입니다.

가정교회 네 기둥중 하나는 ‘종이 되는 리더십’입니다. 이는 다른 사람들을 섬겨서 성공하게 하는 것입니다. 담임목사는 목자/목녀님들이 성공하게 하는 것입니다. 목자/목녀님들이 전도에 성공하게 하고 기도에 성공하게 하는 것입니다.

지지난 주 목회컬럼에 쓴 것처럼, 앞으로 목자/목녀님들과 사역부장님들은 평일 새벽예배와 수요 기도회와 토요 새벽 예배등 기도의 자리에 나오는 것이 원칙입니다. 목자/목녀님들이 기도에 성공하기 바랍니다. 아울러 전도에 성공하기 바랍니다.

마지막으로, 토요일 새벽 예배는 같이 모여서 기도하는 것을 중요하게 생각하기 때문에 쥼으로 송출하는 것은 중단합니다.

Until now, our church has held early morning services on Zoom during weekdays and in-person at the church on Saturdays. The sermons have been based on the Daily Bible QT passages. Starting yesterday, the Saturday early morning service has changed.

There are two major changes. First, I will lead the Saturday early morning service. Pastor Jang mainly preaches on Sundays, and I preach only once a month. Pastor Jang also leads the early morning services. I had been thinking about whether I should lead at least the Saturday service, and around that time, Pastor Jang asked me to take it on. So I will now be leading it.

I prayed and thought about how I should lead the Saturday early morning service. Our Wednesday Prayer Meeting has already begun intercessory prayer for the VIP ministry. I was led to focus the Saturday service as well on "saving souls and making disciples."

Therefore, during the Saturday early morning service, we will have testimonies instead of a sermon. These testimonies will mainly be shared by the shepherds/shepherdesses whose members have recently accepted Jesus or received baptism. This year, the groups that have had members accept Christ or be baptized are the Student Ministry (Yoonhee Lee), Dominica (Soohyun Ahn), Dallas (Hyunjoo Oh), Cambodia (Heungshin Jang), and YAM (Whi Kang) house churches.

Shepherds of these groups, please prepare a testimony centered on how you ministered to the members who accepted Christ. After these testimonies, other shepherds will also share. If there is no one to give a testimony, I will preach.

We will begin with two praise songs, followed by the sermon or testimony. Afterward, we will sing one more praise song, then have a time of united prayer, followed by personal prayer. Shepherd Soohyun Ahn will provide the accompaniment. After the prayer meeting, it will be fine to have light refreshments.

One of the four pillars of the house church model is “servant leadership.” This means serving others so that they may succeed. The senior pastor’s role is to help the shepherds succeed—especially to help them succeed in evangelism and in prayer.

As I wrote in the pastoral column two weeks ago,  shepherds/shepherdesses and ministry leaders are expected to attend the weekday early morning services, the Wednesday Prayer Meeting, and the Saturday early morning service—these gatherings of prayer. I hope that our shepherds will succeed in prayer, and likewise succeed in evangelism.

Finally, since the Saturday early morning service values gathering together in person to pray, we will discontinue broadcasting it on Zoom.
