가정교회의 세 축은 목장모임과 주일연합예배와 삶공부입니다. 목장모임과 주일연합예배만큼 삶공부도 중요합니다. 우리 교회에서는 학생들의 학기에 맞춰서 일 년에 두 번, 9월과 1월에 삶공부를 제공합니다.

삶공부는 5 개의 ‘필수과목’과 여러 ‘선택과목’이 있습니다. ‘필수과목’은 ‘생명의 삶’과 ‘확신의 삶’과 ‘새로운 삶’과 ‘경건의 삶’과 ‘하나님을 경험하는 삶’입니다. 보통 위 순서대로 수강하는 것이 원칙입니다.

‘생명의 삶’ 은 가장 기본적이고 중요한 삶공부입니다. 담임목사가 인도하고, 등록 교인은 모두 수강하는 것이 원칙입니다. 한 번 수강했더라도 3-4 년이 지나면 다시 수강할 것을 추천합니다. 다시 수강하면 처음 수강했을 때 이해하지 못했던 것을 이해할 수 있습니다. 물론, 그동안 잊어버린 것도 다시 기억합니다^^

다음에 듣는 것이 ‘확신의 삶’입니다. ‘확신의 삶’은 목자/목녀가 목회자에게 배워서 목장 식구들과 일대일로 하는 공부입니다.  지금보다 더 활발하게 진행되었으면 좋겠습니다.

다음에 듣는 것이 ‘새로운 삶’이고, 그후 ‘경건의 삶’을 듣습니다. ‘경건의 삶’을 들은 사람들이  ‘하나님을 경험하는 삶’을 듣습니다. 특히 ‘하나님을 경험하는 삶’은 현재 목자/목녀이거나 예비 목자/목녀가 듣습니다.

지금까지 ‘경건의 삶’ 1기를 진행했습니다. ‘하나님을 경험하는 삶’을 수강할 충분한 인원이 채워지려면 ‘경건의 삶’을 최소한 한 번 더 개설해야 합니다. 그런데 제가 은퇴하기 전에 ‘하나님을 경험하는 삶’을 개설해 달라는 요청이 있어서 이번에 개설합니다.

따라서 수강 자격도 수정합니다. (1) ‘새로운 삶’을 들은 분, (2) 목자/목녀 혹은 예비목자/목녀. 두가지 중 하나만 충족해도 수강할 수 있습니다. 그러나 등록하기 전에 신중히 결정하기 바랍니다.

‘하나님을 경험하는 삶’은 일주일에 5 일동안 교재 6-7 쪽을 읽고 예습해야 합니다. 그리고 토요일 아침이나 오후에 2시간 반동안 모여서 공부해야 합니다. 정말로 ‘하나님을 경험하는 삶’을 공부할 각오가 있는 분만 등록하기 바랍니다.

등록은 다음 주일(3/29)부터 4/12까지 받습니다. 인원이 많고 또 시간 제약을 고려해서 오전과 오후 두 번을 개설합니다. 인원이 적으면 저녁에 한 반만 개설하려고 합니다.

4/19 주일 예배 후에 한 시간 정도 준비 모임을 갖습니다. 공부는 4/25(토)부터 7/11(토)까지 12주 동안 합니다

The three pillars of the house church are Mokjang meetings, joint Sunday worship, and Life Study. Life Study is just as important as the small group meetings and joint Sunday worship. Our church offers Life Study twice a year, in September and January, to align with the students' academic semesters.

Life Study consists of five 'required' and various 'elective' courses . The 'required' courses are 'Living Life,' 'Assurance Life, ' 'New Life, 'Life of Godliness,' and 'Experiencing God .' Generally, the principle is to take them in that order.

"Living Life" is the most fundamental and important life study. It is taught by the Senior Pastor, and as a rule, all registered members are required to take it. Even if you have taken it once, we recommend taking it again after 3 to 4 years.  Taking it again allows you to understand what you could not grasp the first time. Of course, you will also recall what you have forgotten in the meantime.

The next thing to listen to is 'Life of Assurance.' 'Life of Assurance' is a study where shepherds learn from a pastor and conduct one-on-one study with their house members. I hope it will be carried out more actively than it is now.

The next thing to hear is 'New Life,' and after taking 'New Lif , ' one takes 'Life of Godliness’. Those who have taken 'Life of Godliness ' then take  ‘Experiencing God’. In particular, 'Experiencing God' is for current shepherds or prospective shepherds.

I have conducted one 'The Life of Godliness' so far. To fill the enrollment for 'Experiencing God' , I would need to open 'The Life of Godliness' at least one more time. However, since there was a request to open 'Experiencing God' before my retirement, I am opening it now.

Therefore, the eligibility requirements are also being revised. You may enroll if you meet either of the following two conditions: (1) those who have taken 'New Life' , or (2) a Shepherd/Shepherdess or a prospective Shepherd/Shepherdess. However, please make a careful decision before registering.

You must intensively read and prepare 6-7 pages five days a week. Additionally, you must gather to study for two and a half hours on Saturday mornings or afternoons. Please register only if you are truly committed to studying 'Experiencing God’.

Registration will be accepted from next Sunday (March 29) until April 12. Considering the large number of participants and time constraints, I am opening two sessions, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. If the number of participants is small, I plan to open only one class in the evening. We will hold a preparation meeting for about an hour after the Sunday service on April 19. The study will run for 12 weeks, from Saturday, 4/ 25 to Saturday, 7/11
